Checks your drawings for compliance with drawing standards

VisiCheck automatically checks a number of Visio file characteristics to ensure that it complies with your graphic and program standards. VisiCheck helps your drawings look consistent, and is an invaluable tool to determine if the drawing is configured properly so that a Visio automation program will run as expected.

Screens
When you start VisiCheck, it provides a list of the active Visio drawings. Select the ones to check. You then set the allowable graphic conditions in the following tabs...
     
     
     
When run, VisiCheck produces a list of items that do not comply with the conditions you set in the input tabs. VisiCheck also makes it very easy to find the offending item... just double click on the list, and the item is highlighted in the Visio drawing (see below).
After identifying a non-compliance problem, VisiCheck shows you where it occurs on your drawing. Select the problem to "visit" the item in Visio.

Scenarios for Use
  • Your Visio drawings are used to generate Bill of Materials, and the automation program looks for shapes with certain graphic characteristics. The Bill of Materials will be more accurate if VisiCheck is used to verify that the shapes are correctly configured.
  • Your sub-contractors depend on clear design drawings. Use VisiCheck to enforce graphic standards and reduce errors and omissions due to graphic inconsistencies.
