The aHa! Word2Map add-in enables you to quickly create a mindmap structure from a Word document to get through scanning and clicking with the mouse. You select from the main document and decide whether you want to have a hoofondwerp or subtopic in the mindmap structure. You can also choose to be a part of your text, select and link notes as a hoofdondwerp or deelondeerwerp.
The aHa! Word2Map add-in:
Will help you quickly find the essence of a text to see if a structure to make room for your own text, presentation, project or extract for use in a study;
Is also an ideal tool for starting a creative process: after generating the mindmaps structure takes you to new associations;
If you are familiar with speed reading, you can quickly reading through the text with your mouse and quickly create a structure based on the keywords and key words that you encounter;
If you are not familiar with speed reading, you can use this tool to learn speed reading with Word files on your computer.
Who is it for?
The aHa! Word2Map add-ins designed for all FreeMind, MindMeister and MindManager users who work a lot with Word files. Think of managers, knowledge workers, project managers, students, etc.
How to start?Step 1: Open a document and activate aHa! Word2Map by in the ‘Add-ins “from the Ribbon menu choose’ Show ‘. You can now create a mind map by scanning and clicking with your mouse. If you select keywords that of your mouse will on the right side of the screen, after which you can choose whether this is a main topic or subtopic in mind directory structure. Additionally, you can text documents (including quotes) select and indicate that the notes are below a certain subject in the mind map.
Step 2: Click the ‘Save as …’ and choose MindManager and FreeMind, hereinafter folder hierarchy with the notes are saved. Now you only have the rest mindmapbestand using MindManager, FreeMind or MindMeister (via FreeMind import).
You can process within a mindmapbestand as many times as you want because the mind map file also within aHa! Word2Map can be loaded to additional main topics, subtopics, or notes to add. Of course you can use your mindamp from your mindmapsoftware also export to Word and thus continue to work on your text.
